Minimalist Rebranding Project.
For this project I was asked to imagine a future where companies could not use logos or photo realistic images for their brand. Part of this project was to interpret a Company or brand using only 3 words to describe a given product as well as a store front for those products to be sold.
Start With a Sketch
This brand I wanted to lean heavily into using the company and brand’s colors as they currently exist. I also wanted to use the iconic bottle shape and design as it would help in making the customer identify with that branding effortlessly.
This specific product was renamed to ‘Original Vanilla Cola’ based on the flavors and product type.
Adding to the Product Line
Next I used the design basics to recreate another Iconic product owned by this same company. Keeping similar colors for the lettering and bottle cap. For this drink though I used a gradient color from lime to green in keeping with the products flavor description.

The Store Front
As most soda and beverage companies do not have a traditional store front, I wanted to redesign what essentially serves as the store front for a Cola Company: The Grocery Store Vending Machine.
This sketch removes all of the modern branding and instead replaces it with abstract shapes using the company colors.

This concept is based on one of 63 New Tesla semi-truck models currently in use by the company.
Who is this company?
Was this the company you were thinking of?
In 2029 Pepsi was forced to drop all photo realistic branding and instead describe itself and its products with 3 words and no photo realistic images or any of its iconic logos. Instead, the company relied heavily on its iconic colors scheme and subtle nods towards the contents of its packaging.
